    Hi

I have two issues that I need your help with.

    Skillbar issue

I am currently importing statistics to custom fields created using ACF on pages, using WordPress all import. Displaying these statistics I’m using the short code provided by ACF which is {{acf:FIELD_NAME}}. This is working perfectly. I am however having problems loading the short code within the skill bar.

Example: [skill_bar heading=”Up to R5 999″ percent=”70%” style=”background-color: #00b9f2″] replacing the percentage value with the associated custom field tag : {{acf:FIELD_NAME}} seems to break the skillbar.

Is there a way to use custom fields within the skillbar?

    Loading content outside of Cornerstone

Whenever I upload stats through WP-all-import, the stats loads fine. I am able to preview all pages and see the changes. However once I go to the back-end and try to access the page using corner stone it over writes the template and starts me off with a blank canvas. So I am forced to re-insert the template associated to each page. The newly updated information are then displayed as per normal after I have re-inserted the template.

How do i get Cornerstone not to dismiss the template applied to it once I update my stats?

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in!

#1] The skillbar only accepts true value. You cannot use custom field in this shortcode. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this.

#2] You are not supposed to switch between editors. Once you created a page with Cornerstone, you’ll have to stick with it. Switching to other editor or editing the page outside of Cornerstone would corrupt Cornerstone data and you cannot edit it again back in Cornerstone.

    Hope this explains it briefly.
