    I want to be able to show a lightbox with some text showing, either from clicking a link or clicking on an image if I have to.

    Is this possible with the [lightbox] shortcode?

    Hi there,

    Please add your text on a separate page.
    Add following code in text or raw content element :

    [image class="text-popup" src="image-2.jpg" link="true" href="URL of page" lightbox_video="true"]
[lightbox selector=".text-popup"]
