I updated the x theme in wordpress today as it said an update was available, after I did that the child and x themes were deleted and now my site is messed up… I’m trying to upload the x theme again but I’m getting this error: Fatal error: Class ‘X_Addons_Updates’ not found in D:\Sites\tablerockkennels.com\public_html\wp-content\plugins\cornerstone\includes\classes\admin\class-updates.php on line 138

I’m also getting this alert: This Cornerstone license is ​not validated​. Fix. I input my envato purchase code and it says: We’ve checked the code, but it doesn’t appear to be an Cornerstone purchase code or Themeco license. Please double check the code and try again.

What is going on? Did I lose all my work?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! This is really weird, deleting themes isn’t something that a WP update should do. If you lost your child theme, then you may have lost all your custom work. Your content should be intact as is stored on a database. It’s best to check with your host to see what could have caused the deletion of the X theme and Child theme. Were there any other themes deleted?

Also, please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look on our end as well. To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

I was able to upload the x and child theme successfully and it remembered all my work 🙂 I have not idea what happened but I’m glad everything is in place!
