    Hi. I have a client with an existing wordpress blog: https://mrchrisbriscoe.wordpress.com/

    I’m going to build him an entire site in X with a blog, but I don’t want to lose the existing blog posts or followers. Do you have suggestions for what to do? Thanks!

    Hello Lorie,

    Thanks for writing in!

    Building website with X will not override the existing content. However you will have to recreate existing pages/posts and any additional custom features build into theme. We also request you to please walk-through our knowledgebase as that will help you to get started:

    Thanks. I’ve built several websites in X – I was just trying to figure out the best way to approach this. Sounds like there’s not an easy way to do it.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for the updates! Please keep in mind that the X theme is a WordPress theme. If you activate X theme, it should display your existing blog posts and other pages. You might see something odd but most of the time, it should not affect how the content is being displayed. WordPress themes were created as a skin to a blog thus, it should not change anything on the content as soon as you activate a theme.
