    Hello there,

    I have a problem I was hoping I could get some direction on. I am running into an issue that keeps me from deleting certain things within cornerstone. From the forum I have found out that this is a known issue and can be fixed by updating the X-theme.

    My x-theme version is 4.1.0
    I am currently active on the X Child Theme: Integrity Dark Version 1.0.0

    I do not know how to backup up my site, update my X Theme and Child Theme and restore everything back the way it was.

    I know this a big subject. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi,

    If you have setup your child theme the way it has been documented here (https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-child-themes/), you should be fine updating the parent X theme.

    Hey,

    I was able to update everything and the issue is fixed! For the longest time I didn’t realize my x-theme wasn’t properly validated. That’s why I got so behind and confused about the whole updating process. Also I am realizing I don’t really need to use the Child theme because I only have a little bit of custom CSS that I use. Everything else is standard stuff.
