    Hello,
    How can I update to the new version?
    I downloaded it from here and I’m trying to install it but it doesn’t let me. Also, I think the update should be next to the choose template itself

    Hey,

    There are two ways you can do that:

    Activate a different theme and delete the X theme in your WordPress folder then add the new one to it.

    Or connect via ftp to your website and replace the currently wp-content/themes/x folder with the new one.

    Won’t I lose all my changes and customizations???

    No you won’t but to be prepared for the worst. If you hover over the Customizer tab there is an option called “Export” that’s where you can export all your customizer settings and import them at any given time if you need to.
