    I tried to update my version of X to the new version via the WordPress dashboard. It crashed and my old version of X is now gone.

    I downloaded a copy of the new version and tried to install that but it failed, giving me the message “Are you sure you want to do that?” I thought I did so I hit install again, but it again failed.

    What can I do?

    Hi John,

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the updates!

    If you are facing issues with the theme installation from the admin panel, you can install it manually via FTP. To do that, please follow the section Manual Updates in this article: https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/
