Hi,
WordPress does not see that X Theme can be updated to 4.4.1 although I updated Cornerstone to 1.2.0 and then to 1.2.1 without any problems. The same thing with WordFence.

Please click on Check Again button under Dashboard > Updates page (see: http://prntscr.com/alw27f). This will force WordPress to fetch the latest version update availble for X theme.

It didn’t work but I downloaded it through forum and updated through FTP. Now I see update evaluable in WP for Cornerstone 1.2.2 but it states that Automatic update is not available (when I do it through Update function in WP Plugins menu I get error that Archive for Cornerstone 1.2.2 is not available). Is there 1.2.2 package already available within X Theme update at Themeforest?
I downloaded it but there is no Cornerstone in the X Theme package. Only all other Add-Ons are there.

Extract the x.zip and navigate to this \x\framework\plugins\ directory, then install the cornerstone.zip like you do with other plugin.
Make sure you completely delete the previous version of Cornerstone.
