zoranParticipantIt has been a couple years since I bought my first license of X and I wouldn’t buy anything else. But I was having an issue with the background on my first site and some customizing was done to get around it. I was updating it this week and am having an issue with putting a photo on my home page and being able to see the whole photo. I see many, many posts on that issue. So today I thought lets clean this site up and I uninstalled it and installed a fresh Word Press with new Data Base and added the child theme. Now I have the same background colors that have been on my site which is fine but it tells me that something didn’t “clean” The child theme style sheet is empty. I am thinking it is from the Integrety style sheet. I want a clean site to start with. What else can I delete?

zoranParticipantBut I still have the same issue. My photo that I wish to use on the Home page will not show the top of the photo. I do not care about paralax I just want to see my entire photo and it is only for this page. Of course it has to work for all sizes. So if you would kindly take a look at my page I would appreciate it. Won’t be much to look at since it is a new install.
Thanks.

LelyModeratorHi There,
Are you referring to this photo:http://www.mountainviewweb.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/mvwcupss800.png
We can’t see the entire image because of width and height aspect ratio. Current image size is 800×537. On a normal desktop screensize 1034×768, your image width is not enough to cover this screen thus it will adjust. When the width adjust, the height of the image will adjust proportionately. So when the image width adjust and the height adjust too, that’s the reason why we can’t see the entire image. Background hides the overflows. Try using an image with 1600×800 or 1600×700 width and height.Hope this helps.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Are you referring to the background images being added in the customizer? That background image when being displayed in the page will have to be stretch out to fit the entire page. Have you tried adding a background image in the section itself? Please check out how section background works from here: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/section-background-image-2/#post-691126
Hope this helps.
