How to undo something in Visual Composer?

Hi there ,

You can delete or edit the elements but you can’t undo it to previous look with click on button.

Then how does one edit. You make one mistake and boom! It’s over? No recovery?

Hi there,

To edit each element just click on pencil icon located on top right of each element and a window pops up and you can make your edit.

Hi I totally understand that sometimes there is a need to recover what was previously done. There are a few options although Visual Composer as a whole doesn’t have a way to easily undo.

There is an undo in the individual text and edit boxes of Visual Composer, anywhere where you see the following toolbar:

There is also revisions that are built into WordPress and you can go back to a previously saved copy which is a way to recover the content. This is located in the publish settings:
