lindylarocheParticipantHi there I have the Under Construction extension set to show a custom page : https://www.lindylaroche.com/comingsoon
on the main page https://www.lindylaroche.com . But you can see that the custom page has an opt-in form but it won’t show up on the main page. Why is that? Also, why is the image repeated on the page that doesn’t have opt-in form? (I see it in Incognito window and in mobile sizes)
Please advise!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
How did you modify under construction plugin?
I’m not sure if we can help you with this since theme customization is outside the scope of our support, but first I would like to take a closer look .
Please provide us with more detail and login credentials.Thanks.

lindylarocheParticipantI seriously recommend fixing the bugs in this extension. It’s not working like it should, creates repeated images and breaks opt-in forms. I also didn’t modify the Under Construction Extension, it’s a built in feature that it provides-allowing us to set another page to be used as the Under Construction page.
I’ve had my own tech support login and have a look and came to the same conclusion. I’ve disabled and I hope it will be fixed sometime, thank you!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Just for future topics, self responding or bumping your post pushes it back in our Queue system so it takes longer to respond to.
I have check your site using Incognito mode. This is how I see it: http://prntscr.com/ekiavh
The opt in form is displaying as expected. I do not see a repeated image in mobile device. This is how it looks on my end.

This is not an issue nor a bug with the Under Construction plugin. You have chosen that a custom page will be displayed. The issue is how you have layout the page in Cornerstone. Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
Thank you for your understanding.

lindylarocheParticipantHi there, the reason it shows correctly is because I already disabled the Under Construction plugin and the page you now see is the custom page. That means that the custom page is NOT the issue because as you can see, it works. However, if I activate Under Construction to point to this custom page, it no longer works. That was why I originally posted the question.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! I can see what you mean by now. I have activated under construction plugin and saw the background image. This shouldn’t be the case. I already reported this to our developers. For the meantime, to resolve your issue, please edit your “Coming Soon” page back in Cornerstone and insert the following custom css in the settings tab, Settings > Custom CSS
body.page-id-14 { background-image: none !important; }Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.
