    My website is newtonkd.com

I am using the following versions:
    -WordPress: 4.4.2
    -Cornerstone version 1.1.3
    -X Theme version: 4.3.4

I want to validate my theme so I can get updates for X and Cornerstone, but I can’t get an API key because that is no longer the way to validate.

What do I do? I need to update Cornerstone.

    Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! There is no need for the API key anymore. Navigate to your licenses page and then paired your license with the newtonkd.com (make sure the domain is correct). And then navigate to your admin dashboard > addons and validate the site with the license code.

If this does not work, please provide us login credentials and the license code so we can take a closer look.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

I logged in and entered the purchase code and it validated. I’m not sure why it wasn’t working earlier for you. Automatic update notifications should now appear for X and Cornerstone.

I had theme x validated but it has not been updating. I just checked and it is currently at v4.0.1.

None of the theme x plugins have updated and I can’t seem to be able to remove them from the plugin list to reinstall.

I removed the API validation key to put try putting in my license number but that didn’t work and when I tried to put the previous validation key back in it says that

“This site URL is not a match for your API key.”

This all started because cornerstone kept freezing each time i tried to delete an element or section whilst editing.

    Help!… Please…

    Hello @Claudis0001,

I cannot validate your product because the license needs to be assign in the url of your site. Please do the following instead:
1] Please login to your account and assign the license. You need to assign the license to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
2] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

    @StyleFileGroup
    :
    Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license code as your API key.

And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/

    Thanks Rue Nel,

    1. I am guessing you mean in WordPress… When I go to X Addons there is no revoke validation option and I don’t get a page like the one you’ve attached.

    2. I am guessing you mean my themeco account… But I’m not sure I’m clear what you mean by revoke. Do you mean delete whats in the site/production box next to the license key box?

    3. Which settings Settings > General > Site Address?…. In wordpress? Themeco? My hosting service?

    1. You might be using an older version of X. In that case, you will need to update X manually. Please follow the instructions at https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/.

    2. After that, you will need to validate X. See https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/ for validation instruction.

    3. That is in WordPress admin menu.

    Thanks.
