Hey There,
When I try to change some settings for my page I can’t seem to access the WordPress ‘customize’ page from the front-end. It just show me a blank page when I select this from the dropdown menu.
Greetings,
MarkApril 14, 2015 at 10:04 am #249367Hi There,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If this issue still occurs, please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
β Link to your site
β WordPress Admin username / Password
β FTP Account
Donβt forget to select Set as a private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff. Many thanks.
April 15, 2015 at 2:42 am #249967Hmmm, I only had one extra Plugin (beyond the X-theme plugins) which was Contact Form 7. After disabling this the error was gone. If I’m not mistaken this plugin is quite common? How could this block the ‘Customize’ menu?
April 15, 2015 at 2:55 am #249978After testing I found out that any changes made in this customize menu will not apply to the site after pressing ‘save and publish’
EDIT: suddenly the changes did apply. I think it might have been an issue with my internet connection.
April 15, 2015 at 3:29 am #250007Glad it’s sorted out. It might have been just the cache. π
April 15, 2015 at 4:44 am #250051About the Contact form 7. Is that a common disturbance? I thought it was quite an often used plugin.

Thanks for the logins!
Upon checking, with Contact Form 7 enabled, I’m getting “500 Internal Server Error” (see: http://prntscr.com/6u0suv). Please review this thread to fix this issue: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/500servererror.htm
If it doesn’t help, I’d advise you to contact your web hosting providers with regards to this issue as it seems related to the server.
Thanks!
