Hi

I noticed that the contact form on my website seems broken because it is only showing the words [x_subscribe form=”7085″]. I have tried to update the plugin but receive the below error message:

The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. email-mailchimp/functions/vendor/mcapi/Mailchimp.php.bk

Can you let me know how I can fix this?

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

Please try to reset files permission.
I suggest contacting your web host to see if they are willing to help you. You can include this as a reference: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

Hi I have contacted my hosting team and I have reset the files permissions. I have tried to update the plugin and still have the same error message. Can you please help?

I tried to reset the file permissions again and had an error message: Error! Permission fixer already in progress

It has been going for 6 hours now so is that normal?
