    Hi, I logged in to my site to make a few changes and discovered I’m unable to edit any of my pages. Could you help me with this? Thanks!

    Hi,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

    You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

    If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Yes, I’m still unable to edit the pages. The usual options/layout in editor do not seem to be available and the frontend editor/visual composer will not load. Thanks.

    Hi There,

    Sorry, but the only thing updated on the site: https://www.shipmonandbell.com is the WordPress itself (v4.5). You need to update your X|Theme, Visual Composer and other outdated plugin to run your site smoothly.

    The latest version of X|Theme is v4.4.2, while you still have v3.2.4. You might need to do the manual update method, please follow this post.

    After a successful X|Theme update, install Cornerstone under Addons panel. Then deactivate and delete the X|Shortcode plugin. Cornerstone is taking over for X|Shortcodes, which you can read much more about here in detail.

    Then clear your browser’s cache and any caching plugin/feature that the site might have.

    This would be a major update for your site, so please keep a backup of your whole site.
