Hi there! I’m trying to add my site to the Summary section of my LinkedIn profile, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I contacted LinkedIn support and they say it might have something to do with OpenGraph and SEO. I disabled OpenGraph in the X settings and installed Yoast, but I’m not sure what to do with it further. It’s still not working. Does anyone have any suggestions?
January 31, 2016 at 5:14 pm #773388Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! We’re not really sure as to how much we can support in this area, but we’d like to take a look. Would you mind telling us how you are trying to add a your site as a “Summary section” on your LinkedIn? This is so we can try to replicate the issue on our end. Also, please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

However, I get an error saying “There was a problem processing your request”.

Would you mind providing a video recording? Is this related to linkedin website? Or site admin?
Thanks.
February 1, 2016 at 12:15 am #773761This is related to site admin – there’s something wrong with the meta tags of my site such that I can’t post the link to it on LinkedIn.
February 1, 2016 at 1:28 am #773849Hi,
When editing your home page or any page, scroll down to Yoast SEO section and add a title, description and an image.
See screenshot – http://screencast.com/t/ZWCO0Ke1Ns
Hope that helps.

February 2, 2016 at 2:31 am #775593Hi Johan,
I’m not sure why the issue is still there as the open graph tags that are required by Linkedin are properly inserted in your site (see: http://prntscr.com/9xypwe). These are the requirements by Linkedin: https://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/46687/ft/eng
I’d advise contacting Linkedin support again with regard to the issue.
Thank you!
