    Good afternoon.
    I’ve had a site functional for months and now it appears that the X Theme needs to re-validate. This might be due to a recent WordPress update. I’m not sure why it needs to be re-validated, but at this point I’m no longer receiving updates and some functionality is disabled.

    I’m receiving the following error when I try entering my license key

    Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid.

    I’ve verified that the Settings / General URL is the same as what’s in my X Theme License Manager.
    I’ve verified that the License manager has the correct URL that is listed in WordPress.
    I’ve looked at my PHP settings on my Web Server and that appears to be set at the default settings for PHP v.5.6

    I can’t think of anything else that might be hanging this up.

    Please advise.

    Hi Tom,

    I suspect that is either because of your X theme outdated or Cornerstone plugin outdated. You can check the latest version numbers from here and update manually (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/). You need to have the latest versions to function the validation process correctly.

    If you’re still having issues, please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look. To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
