HelloParticipantHi,
The photo is not showing in the Ubermenu on the site. I have gone to Appearance – Menu and clicked on the Uber icon on the product category I want to add the photo to.I have gone through the settings in Image and saved multiple times but no photo.
I have chosen Assign Featured Image on Save, Inherit Image Size and Inherit Image Dimensions from the UberMenu Image Settings, which is set to Shop Thumbnail and Image Layout Default, Right.
When I leave the settings and go back in the image is no longer there and is not on the site.
I basically followed this advice.
Please help.

RadModeratorHi there,
I tried it out and the image works, what item is supposed to have the image? Please note that you have to save the menu too (Ubermenu has its own save button too).
Thanks!

HelloParticipantHi,
I have also tried and the image does not show. I have added an image to Alexander McQueen under Designers in Appearance, Menus. Also, the settings in Ubermenu look right.
But when I add the photo in Appearance, Menus it shows there with the settings set in Menus but after when looking at the site, it does not show.
The photo is supposed to show in the Primary Menu under Mens – Designers – and right of Alexander McQueen.
I would like to add photos to all of the designers under Men and Women subcategories.
Please could you double check all the settings.
Many thanks,

RadModeratorHi there,
You’re right, but it’s random. It never works on first 5 tries, but it works on 6th. Then repeated it again and it works for the first time. Then I removed it again to test and it won’t work anymore. Maybe your hosting has internal cache feature?
Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials? Maybe I could find something from error log.s
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
1. I disabled your cache plugin, and you have to be patient as the changes don’t take effect immediately. Probably related to your hosting’s cache, it’s Siteground.
2. When setting an image, make sure the Inherit Featured Image is disabled. Else, it will not pick up the image that you set. Your menu items are categories, they don’t have any featured image. It’s really hard to work on development while the caches are active. That’s why it’s only recommended just after everything is done.
I made two samples under Men and Women menu.
Thanks!

HelloParticipantHi,
Thank you that works. But the issue now is after adding the photos to only the first few categories, you can’t see the rest of the list. This becomes more of an issue as I would like to add more product category photos and my list is quiet long.
How can users scroll down to see the rest of the list as the scroll bar on the right of the screen on Chrome only scrolls the main page, not the Ubermenu?
The scroll take place underneath the Ubermenu using that scroll bar. Is there a scroll bar setting for Ubermenu on the Top level menu?
Or should the Designers list automatically wrap to the following column? How is that set?
Zooming out is not the ideal solution for users.
Thank you.

LelyModeratorHi There,
Please check this guide:http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/faqs/submenu-scrollbar
We can set maximum submenu height, you can do so in the Control Panel > Main UberMenu Configuration > Position & Layout > Submenus > Mega Submenu Max Height. When it’s beyond the maximum height you have set, it will create scrollbar.
Hope this helps.
