I know this is not directly related to Themeco, but after a day and a half of tweaking UberMenu settings, I’m really feeling like a moron….

An example of my menu-in-progress can be seen at http://69.195.124.101/~kirkkwil/ksl/. Under the menu item “About>Clubs”, I have a sub-megamenu containing 18 items. I simply want these to display in three columns of six. Regardless of any configurations I have attempted, I can’t seem to get the submenu to be any wider than it’s parent item.

The ONLY success I’ve had has been creating three separate columns with headers. Since I do not want headers in this menu, I regret that I am officially stumped. 🙁

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Best,

    Kirk

    Hi there,

Please add columns with header, if you don’t want headers to be displayed we’ll help you to hide them.

    Thanks.

    Thank you Chris!

I’ve added column headers. You can see that doing so does allow the menu to display in three separate columns as desired, however the submenu width remains constrained to its parent item.

I can not find any way to allow this mega submenu’s width to expand beyond the constraint of the “Clubs” parent.

The only thing I can determine that is constraining the submenu width would be that its parent item is a flyout menu. As shown in attachment “ksl.png”, when both the parent and sub are set to “Automatic type”, it displays in full-width.

The second attachment, “ksl2.png” shows an example from the Ubermenu demo which demonstrates exactly what I am trying to achieve: a multi-column sub mega-menu as a child of a flyout item.

Apologies, my screenshot exceeded max size. The example I’m trying to replicate is at https://wpmegamenu.com under “Flyout > Mega”.

    Hi there,

Looks like you are struggling to set the megamenu. Let’s follow this video tutorial – http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/demo/mega

Complete official documentation is here – http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3

    Cheers!

    Thank you.

I’ve been through pretty much all the sevenspark tutorials, but haven’t found one that demonstrates nesting a megamenu within a flyout as their home page does. I had previously created my menu directly under a top-level item and had it functioning perfectly; I just can’t seem to overcome this width constraint when nested within its parent flyout.

    Hi there,

Would you mind providing a screenshot of what you’re trying to achieve? I don’t think it’s here https://wpmegamenu.com/megamenu/, or maybe I just overlooked it. Their mega menu a sub-menu of the parent root menu, and it mega menu doesn’t have sub menus either.

    Thanks!
