Paulo TebetParticipantI don´t want to mess with custom fonts, css, theme files to manage fonts. I want to know what is possible to do with X only with the customizer, Cornerstone and regular WP features.
As far as I understood, in X I can only select two font families:
One for Body Font and another for the Headings Font, both in the Typography area in Customizer.
I want to use Google Fonts and noticed that depending on the font family I choose I have different Font Weights available.
MY QUESTION:
1.) How can I mix font weights in different parts of my copy? For examplek, to have this text in a post or page:
<Lato 100 - Ultra LIght>This is a thin text<Lato 100 - Ultra LIght><Lato 300 - Book>This is a thicker text<Lato 300 - Book><Lato 400 - Italic>This is a regular italic text<Lato 400 - Italic>I would like to have all of the font weights to be available to used AT THE SAME TIME in my copy.
2.) If I use the bold and italic functions on the text formating area when creating a text in post and pages, will I ended up with a fake bold and fake italic created based on the current font being used, or will I ended up with the original 700 Bold and 400 – Regular Italic version of the font designed from the ground up to be in bold and italic?
3.) How is the H1 to H6 sizes handled? Will they just scale up and down the current font being used or will they use original Font Weight of the current font being used instead?
Regards,
Paulo Tebet
