The Knowledgebase has been so helpful, but I do not see the answer to my question, hopefully I haven’t overlooked it.

When I use the map it takes up almost the whole screen and when you are using a mouse with smart scroll, the map starts zooming and it is hard to get to past the map to the rest of the page.

I know that Google has a way to disable smart scroll zoom, but I am not sure that I can implement it through X-Theme.

Hey there,

To disable zooming for Google Maps, you need to use the old map embed code. Please see https://support.google.com/maps/answer/3045828?hl=en to learn how to switch back to the old map embed.
