jplacountParticipantI’ve had this installed for awhile and trying to update now. I am registered and have the site assigned and everything setup, but when I try and enter the purchase code license into the Product Validation page, it says “No Site URL provided”. The exact url is entered in my ‘manage licenses’ section, I’ve tried with and without HTTP.
It’s super confusing because what is the difference between the Envato Purchase Code and an API Key? Whenever I click anything regarding getting an API key, it just takes me to the manage license page, which mentions nothing about an API key, are these the same thing?

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! We have changed the validation process in the later versions, so now you don’t need to create an API key and you just need to provide the purchase code to validate.
Please review our updated knowledge base article to know more about the new process in validating your X license (https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/).
Hope that helps.

jplacountParticipantNevermind- I was able to fix it.
The issue was I had an older version of X. It wouldn’t allow me to update it without validating the registration, but it wouldn’t let me validate the registration without updating.
I had to do a ftp delete of the X theme, then reinstall and activate the theme.April 20, 2016 at 1:37 am #891297
FriechModeratorInteresting, thanks for the heads up.
Cheers.
