    Hi there,

    I’ve been using X Theme on this site for a while now and it’s working great, for real, this theme is everything you want when making a cheap, basic website. I’ve ran into a problem with the latest updates though. I’ve had X translated since the start, but it isn’t loading the translated file anymore.

    I’ve put the language files (x-nl_NL.mo & x-nl_NL.po) in a couple of locations now, but they’re not picked up, I’ve tried the following locations:
    /wp-content/themes/x-child/languages (using the code provided on the bottom of this guide in the childs functions.php file)
    /wp-content/themes/x/framework/lang
    /wp-content/languages/themes
    /wp-content/languages

    Can you check what’s wrong?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Hmm, is it really working before? It should be __x__-nl_NL.mo and __x__-nl_NL.po

    X’s text domain is __x__ and not x.

    Please try that one and let me know 🙂

    Hi Rad, I’ve tried your suggestion, but it’s not working… And to answer your question, yes! It really did work! I’ve recently updated the theme from an older version (something like 4.1) to the most recent one, so maybe it has something to do with that, but with the new filename it’s not working either.
    Can you check again?

    Could you please update the ftp credentials. It is not working for us.

    Hi, nothing has changed about the FTP credentials, you should be able to get in using the ones provided…

    BTW, something is definitely changed, I’ve updated another site I’m developing using X, and the translation files stopped working there as well… Problem is, I don’t know WHAT changed.

    Thanks for updating. FTP is not working for me as well. Here is what I am getting while trying to login with FTP – http://prntscr.com/azttnd

    Kindly check and update us. If you could login then check the language files and see the last modify date so that you could understand when it was modified.
