Hi support,

I have placed translation files in 3 places:
1. themes/x/framework/lang/lt_LT.mo
2. wp-content/languages/lt_LT.mo
3. wp-content/languages/plugins/woocommerce-lt_LT.mo

everything is translated, but… I have 2 headers that are not translated and I can’t find them…

1. first on is when you enter “cart” page: http://www.miegonamai.lt/cart/ – You can see that everything is translated, but the word “Cart” if it is translated in woocommerce-lt_LT.mo it should be “Krepšelis”

2. second is when you enter “checkout” page: http://www.miegonamai.lt/checkout/ – it will redirect you to “cart” page, so buy some product and visit “Checkout” page again. You can see that everything is translated, but the word “Checkout” if it is translated in woocommerce-lt_LT.mo it should be “Apmokėjimas”.

On the same page at the bottom you will see not translated strings:
Product, Total, Cart Subtotal, Shipping and Handling, Order Total. Here is the problem, that if you click cmd+r “refresh” you will notice that these strings are translated while page is loading, but when loading ends it is in english again.

Well I read that but no help, all places where translation should be done it is done, have no idea, CART and Checkout is apparently hardcoded somewhere… can it be so?

And that automatic revert to english of the last part of Checkout section is a problem too, can’t figure out what is the problem about.

Thank you for providing the credentials!

I checked “lt_LT.po” from wp-content/themes/x/framework/lang/ and couldn’t find a translation given for “Cart” or “Checkout” string.

Please add the translation using the X text domain __x__ for “Cart” and “Checkout” strings. You can also use WPML String Translation for this purpose (http://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/).

Hi support,

I have resolved the problem, all string were OK, no needed to additionally translate these string. “Checkout” and “Cart” titles were simple Pages title, so I simply changed the name of the page and problem solved, all other translations done good.

Now the second problem still haven’t been reviewed:

On the Checkout page at the bottom you will see not translated strings:
Product, Total, Cart Subtotal, Shipping and Handling, Order Total. Here is the problem, that if you click cmd+r “refresh” you will notice that these strings are translated while page is loading, but when loading ends it is reverted back to english again.

IMPORTANT: Please add a product to Cart, because that problem is seen only on checkout page…

Problem solved:

I have installed all WPML plugins and activated WPML WooCommerce Multilingual, it solved the last part of the puzzle :).
