Hi there,
Ah, I understand now. If it’s just choosing a default language per account then that’s possible and it’s WPML’s feature, not WordPress. You can confirm that by checking your profile in admin and it’s under WPML language settings. It’s not normal or defaults to WordPress, but normal to WPML.
What I’m referring is when editing posts/pages, the user should switch to that post/page specific language or choose language on admin bar. It’s WPML that forcing them and we are not familiar how their system works.
Glad it works now.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I am sorry that this ticket has taken a long time, I duplicated your site on my localhost and disabled plugin one bye one, and I came to know that cornerstone plugin is creating conflict with the admin language, I will escalate this issue to compatibility team but before that could you please try yourself on the live site to deactivate the cornerstone plugin and test the issue once.
I look forward to your reply.
Thanks
July 19, 2016 at 10:44 am #1093716Hi There,
Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you’re trying to do.
If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do. We’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
Cheers!July 20, 2016 at 4:26 am #1095024This is what i would like:

Editing English cornerstone page/post/portfolio : Admin remains in English
Editing Chinese cornerstone page/post/portfolio : Admin remains in English (important)User 2 (admin)
user Settings :admin in Chinese

Editing Chinese cornerstone page/post/portfolio : Admin remains in ChineseUser 3 (Editor/Contributor/Author)
user Settings :admin in Chinese
Editing English cornerstone page/post/portfolio : Admin remains in Chinese (important)
Editing Chinese cornerstone page/post/portfolio : Admin remains in ChineseJuly 20, 2016 at 4:29 am #1095026Thanks to WPML this is possible with other plugins.
After debugging why it was not working we disabled the cornerstone plugin, and everything is working, but once you enable cornerstone it not only does not work but also conflicts and effects the other plugins and wordpress default admin.July 20, 2016 at 2:07 pm #1095767Hi there,
Hmm, disabling cornerstone will also disable those procedures ( Editing English cornerstone page/post/portfolio and Editing Chinese cornerstone page/post/portfolio ). Hence, I’m not sure how you found out that it’s due to the cornerstone. I’m not really familiar how WPML language selection works, would you mind providing a video recording showing all of this issue? And please also show the issue when cornerstone is enabled and when it’s not.
Cornerstone has no coding that switches language nor forces it. Though, I can double check it based on the issues we’ll going to find out.
Thanks!

Thank you for the video. Can you check this thread (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/admin-panel-not-keeping-in-one-language/) and try the suggestion? See attached screenshot and do let us know how this goes.
July 28, 2016 at 12:20 am #1106550Come on guys if you read that thread you can see that they already fixed the problem. This thread is the first one i found and i already tried it.
WPML says there is a problem with cornerstone,
I have given login information to both WPML and Themeco,

Since it’s already fixed, then, it would be harder to find the origin of the issue. We’ll be going to investigate this and apply fixes when needed. Though, I can’t promise any temporary solution.
Thanks!
