I’m having a problem with my site soundizers.com, and getting event tracking working with a download link. I am using the Yoast SEO and analytics plugin. Everything is set up correctly, and I have had Yoast support verify that the plugin is set up correctly.
They have indicated that it is potentially a problem between the plugin and the theme. The problem is that the “onclick=”__gaTracker(‘send’, ‘event’, ‘download’,” tracker is not being added to the end of the URL.
Do you know of anything in the theme that could be causing this issue to occur? Is there a way to fix it or add it to the download link, so that these can be tracked correctly?

February 16, 2015 at 8:32 pm #208096Hey there,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script.
Please make sure to remove google analytics code in the Customizer’s JavaScript box if you’re using yoast SEO.
Thank you for your understanding. Cheers!
