So, like a dummy, I installed a plugin without fully testing it against X. The “Timetable Responsive Schedule For WordPress” theme turned every page into an “Oops” 404 page, and when I deactivated it, most of my pages now just show the home page instead of the content it is supposed to.

Some of the pages I was able to “fix” by going to the page screen and editing something like Alt-Title and updating it, but that has not worked for all pages.

Is there anything I can do to recover my menu linked pages? Why would I be getting the correct URL but displaying the home page? Here’s an example: http://cannifest.com/events/live-music/

All versions current, BTW, hosted on SiteGround.

Sorry to answer myself, but it appears it has to do with the word “events” in my URL. That plugin wanted to “own” that word, and I already had pages with that in my tree. Sorry all!

Glad it’s okay now, and that’s no problem at all 🙂 , thanks for sharing.
