here’s how my site looks with Integrity stack turned on: izo.is

    Should I reinstall WP?

I did what you told me with Better Search Replace plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/

but everything looks the same. I think if it will be the issue than test site will also look wrong. The only thing from the old site I used is data from https://ris2ru.wordpress.com copy I imported with WP importer

    Hi there,

How did you migrate your site to the live one? Could you try migrating it again with All in one migration plugin? It could be corrupted since it looks very different, almost empty.

    Thanks!

    what happened:

    1
    I built a wp website on ris2.ru.

    2
I set it up with theme X neatly

    3
tech support from my host at that time timeweb.com told be I have a porn spamming malware installed

    4
I export my The Grid Plugin data to save the grid looksetup.
    File:
    the_grid_2016_12_27.json
    1,5 MB
I guess this file contains only The Grid Plugin Data.

    5
I export my Theme X XCS data via Customizer Manager to save the theme look custom setup.
    File:
    2016-12-26 Целебная-Сила-Лимона-xcs.json
    12 KB
I guess there’s only theme customization data.

    6
I export my posts, pages and images via default WordPress Import-Export tool.
This tool is glitchy as hell so I spend the whole day producing bunch of versions to realize that what I get is only damaged .xml with instructions how to move data from one LIVE SITE to other LIVE SITE. Terrible. I create a free wp site on ris2ru.wordpress.com (it’s still live)
    Files:
    wordpress.2016-12-27-4 media.xml
    wordpress.2016-12-27-3 feedback.xml
    wordpress.2016-12-27-2 pages.xml
    wordpress.2016-12-27 post.xml
    all from ris2ru.wordpress
    wordpress.2016-12-27.xml
    wordpress.2016-12-27-2.xml
    all from ris2.ru source
    wordpress.2016-12-26.xml
    wordpress.2016-12-26-3.xml
    wordpress.2016-12-26-2.xml
.xml files vary from 3 KB to 1.2 MB
I mess with it than finally export most of my content to ris2ru.wordpress.com
I can’t remember which files I used in last partially successful attempt to transfer my content.
I guess there’s only my content and signs of malicious code since that glitchy .xml only provides instructions to transfer content.

    7
I copy my database and export infected site with All-in-One WP Migration plugin for future reference. I am 100% that this time this files has a virus in it, since Dropbox, Gmail and web scanners proved that there’s a virus. So I decide to keep that archives for reference and never use that archives in building something.
    Files:
    All-in-One WP Migration plugin archive:
    ris2.ru-20161227-002651-339.wpress infected and littered
    269,2 MB
    contains virus
    FTP copy of infected site
    2016-12-26 ris2.ru.rar FTP copy of infected site.zip
    185,7 MB
    contains virus
Also I save logs of infected site:
    2016 logs of infected site ris2.ru-year.log copy.log
Tech support told me that site was infected so long ago that there was no way to get a clean backup anywhere.

    8
I save all data from steps 4,5,6,7 for future reference

    9
I save theme customisation data and the grid plugin data saved in files below to customise the look of my next site.
    2016-12-26 Целебная-Сила-Лимона-xcs.json
    the_grid_2016_12_27.json

    10
I get myself new domain on izo.is

    11
I get myself a new hosting on fastcomet.com

    12
I install wordpress on izo.is (MAIN SITE) and izo.is/wptest (TEST SITE) with softaculous.

    13
I import posts from ris2ru.wordpress.com to both MAIN and TEST sites. Everything looks the same. There’s more content on the TEST site, but the design is the same.

    14
I install theme X to both MAIN and TEST sites. Main site looks wrong.

    15
I set up theme x look with Customiser Manager presets using that old XCS.json files from the old site to make them look nice. TEST site looks as I expected, MAIN site still looks wrong

    16
I ask tech support here, on the https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/theme-x-renders-wrong-on-the-main-site-though-it-look-perfect-on-the-test-site/

Since I suppose the problem is not connected with data I used in export because TEST site would also look wrong.

nevertheless I can send you any file or everything I have.

Or just do what you tell me to.

I really don’t know. I am an artist, I’m really not that tech-savvy to look in the code or like.

Is it possible to migrate a wordpress.com site with All in one migration plugin? I thought it’s impossible – there’s no plugin directory available except for the Jetpack plugins on the free wordpress.com sites.

    Hi there,

It’s because exporting your posts and pages as XML are not enough, you should export your cornerstone content as a template and import it to your other site.

You can do that by going to the original site and edit your page through cornerstone then go to Template section, hit save and download the template. Then import your downloaded template to your cornerstone page, the same way how you manage the templates.

    Thanks.

do you read me at all?
there’s no original site any more!
plus I did not used cornerstone at the original site. It was just installed because it goes with the theme.
and there is errors at the backend – in the admin panel. See the screenshots. Does this have anything to do with cornerstone? Does it?
I used exact same pipeline to build a TEST site and it looks fine! No errors at front end, no errors at admin panel either.

after your post I tried to launch the Cornerstone. Same thing – I can launch it on thest TEST site and cannot launch it on the main site.
Something wrong with theme or wp installtion. How do I restore/reinstall? Starting with theme, because on raw wp stage both sites acted same

I deleted theme X, issue with render was still there,

then I googled “wp error invisible fonts in admin panel”
read read read and found this
    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-white-text-and-missing-buttons-in-wordpress-visual-editor/
used this advice with adding line to the wp-confing after php opening tag
    1
    define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);

    and it worked

now I can see text and buttons, tomorrow I’ll reinstall theme X and will see how it will work now.

    thank you for nothing

    Hi there,

First, your site is from infected files which could have been already destroyed your site. We’re not even sure the integrity of your site hence, I only suggested that if you could re-migrate it from the original ( I mean the exact and identical copy ) then we could use it for comparison of what’s been destroyed. And since you have the OLD copy of your site, I was expecting you could establish a temporary site as your original site from those copies.

The issue lies on how you migrate and how it’s infected and it’s something we don’t know, I’m just trying to establish a starting point so we could move forward. In fact, we don’t cover or provide support for site maintenance like this, but we’re willing to help if it’s something we’re familiar with, or something easy. But on this stage, we’re not sure what’s the problem and we can’t even think a proper troubleshooting procedure.

The CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS is not needed, but since it’s required as a fix then there really a problem with your installation.

What’s the difference of your test site and your original site? have you tried migrating the test site to your live site using All in one migration plugin?

    Thanks.
