    I’m running X on 3 sites and currently only 1 is properly showing the updates available for X. The other two sites are validated (I have 3 authorizations and they are enabled per domain), but the updates to X are simply not showing.

    On the problem sites, 1 site is running X v4.0.6 and the other is running 3.2.5. Not sure if its worth noting, but those are also the sites I have not re-made with Cornerstone yet. They still have x-shortcodes and visual composer installed.

    Any idea why the theme updates are not showing? Thanks for a great theme and support.

    Hey there,

    Please try going to Dashboard > Updates and click Check again button. WordPress does not notify sometimes.

    In this case, would you mind sharing us your admin credentials so we could check your setup closer. Don’t forget to set it as private reply.

    You can also update your setup manually, https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/ then let us know on the next update if there is no update alerts.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for providing the login credentials. The version installed has a known bug that doesn’t display update notifications and you can not simply use automatic updates. I would recommend that you download the latest version of X from your dashboard (https://community.theme.co/dashboard/) and update the files manually by uploading the files using ftp. To know more information how you can update the theme manually, please check out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/ and look for the Manual Updates section.

    I’ll give that a go, but with these sites using 2 different versions of X, do both versions of X have this known bug? i.e. is it true that both X Theme v4.0.6 and v3.2.5 will not display update notifications? Seems surprising the problem would span both these theme versions. If there is another problem in my configuration I don’t want to overlook it. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for updating. There was a known bug on X 4.3.0 with WordPress 4.5 regarding the automatic update. If you are using that version or earlier, you will face this. So it might not work for v3.2.5 as well.
