shaneappParticipantHi there,
I am trying to copy the setup of the blog at http://demo.theme.co/integrity-9/blog/ whereby when I click a blog post ‘Read More’ then it takes me to the same styled x theme page (with all of the elements on the page) but shows the full blog post.
At current, when I click the blog post on my own wordpress site, it takes me to a basic page that I cannot add elements to using cornerstone. It only lets me change the content of the post itself, but not the whole page.
How has the integrity-9 blog managed to style the POST the same as the PAGE?
Regards,

ChristianModeratorHey Shane,
Please give us the URL of the pages you’re having a problem with and provide details on how we could replicate it on our test site or steps you took to arrive on that issue.
Thanks.

shaneappParticipantHi,
Its not an issue, its just I don’t understand how to actually accomplish the same feature that has been done on the integrity-9 blog. How would I go about making the post have the same theme as the page, just like in integrity-9?
All I did was create a page and add the ‘Featured Posts’ element to it. When I click on a featured post, it goes to the post itself as you would expect. But it appears that this POST is not themeable like a page, yet it has been done in the link I added above in integrity-9

RupokMemberHi Shane,
There is actually nothing special done. It’s just the default functionality of Integrity. If you set “Standard Layout” then you should get same as this.
Thanks!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
#1 Please select blog page under Settings -> Reading.
#2 To add and assign custom sidebar, check this link : https://community.theme.co/kb/unlimited-sidebars
#3 To add a sidebar like demo, from top to bottom, add text widget, search widget, recent post element in a text widget and recent comments widget.Hope it helps.

shaneappParticipantFollowing those instructions I have managed to get the sidebar to appear on the Posts page, which now looks the same as the Blog page, which is great, however I can’t see how it is possible to actually add the Cornerstone elements to this sidebar, as the Appearance > Sidebar screen on the main wordpress dashboard doesn’t seem to have those elements to add to the sidebar. How is this done?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Please be advised that Cornerstone is a WordPress editor which can be used to create a page or a post. This cannot be used to edit the contents of the sidebar. If you want to add some of the Cornerstone elements, please go to Appearance > Widgets and add a text widget. In the text widget, you can insert any of these shortcodes: http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/
Hope this helps.

shaneappParticipantAh great, thank you. The shortcodes were the last piece of the puzzle in order to get the theme to look like the integrity sample.
For the benefit of other people, one of the reasons that the sidebar was not appearing for me, was an option in the post edit screen on the wordpress dashbaord called ‘Full Width Post Layout’ located:
Dashboard > Posts > Post > Edit > Full Width Post Layout
