    Hey there,
I created a blog page with a post mason grid. When i set this page as the default blog in the settings > reading page, the theme seems to override everything there and it displays my entire posts in that page instead of the excerpts.

you can see the problem here.

any ideas on why is doing this?

thanks in advance for your help

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

The default layout of blog and single post pages is this: http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/blog and http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/5-reasons-you-need-the-x-theme/. You can use between sidebar-content, content-sidebar and fullwidth layout for both blog and single post pages.

As for the blog page, in WordPress, this isn’t possible to edit a blog or archive pages using the page editor. However, you can choose between masonry or standard layout for your posts in blog page under Blog in the Customizer (Appearance > Customize).

    Thanks for understanding.

    Hey there Rahul,
thanks for your reply. I just tried to customize the blog page and it seems as the theme is not picking up the different changes.

for example i put excerpt only in the content area, then i pust masonry grid instead of the standard blog page and it doesn’t change a thing.

also, how can i erase the part that says, The Blog Welcome to our little corner of the Internet. Kick your feet up and stay a while.

    Hi there,

I just checked and you have multiple instances cache system. One from GoDaddy and one from Purge SG, that’s overkill.

I disabled the plugin and flush your Godaddy’s cache and it works.

    Please check. Thanks!

ah nice! that worked, i also erased the godaddy cache plug in in backend.

When i put masonry style of display in my blog nothing shows up? also, how i can erase this and put my own caption?

    The Blog
Welcome to our little corner of the Internet. Kick your feet up and stay a while.

    Hi,

    1. I tried masonry and it seems to be working fine on my end.

Can you try it on another browser.

    2. You can change the blog title and subtitle under integrity tab in the customizer.

    Hope that helps.
