One of my sites was hacked and I need to confirm that these files are not necessary for the function of the theme/plugins. Two different plugins have cited them as malicious.

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/code.php.suspected

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-async/files.php.suspected

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/snapshot/css/functions.php.suspected

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/x-smooth-scroll/css/site/system.php.suspected

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/x-smooth-scroll/views/site/help.php.suspected

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/uploads/revslider/templates/niceandclean_callout/template.php.suspected

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/uploads/revslider/templates/particle-effect-three/gallery.php.suspected

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/uploads/revslider/templates/typewritereffect/db.php.suspected

    Hi there,

There is nothing on those files that could be malicious. But I’d suggest to install fresh copy of the plugins as you had some compromise.

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

No you won´t all your data is stored on the database.

Please access your site via FTP and delete your plugins from wp-content/plugins

After that go back Addons and re-install the plugins.

    Hope it helps
