Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Looks like update was not completely done and some files seems missing. Kindly install a fresh copy of X. You can download the installable theme from themeforest or here – https://community.theme.co/dashboard/
You can just place the extracted theme folder x under wp-content/themes/ folder using FTP replacing the old theme folder.

I´m using the Essential Grid for portfolio (references) page and i added three more items but
they doesn´t show up under the referenser (references) page.I have checked the Essential Grid settings but i can´t find anything.

Thanks for updating in! I have logged in to your site. Since you have installed a caching plugin W3 Total Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Please let us know how it goes.
