Kade McConvilleParticipantHi there,
I have the following issues with the plugin…
-
Load More | The ajax settings i have are set to load more ‘On Scroll’. However, I have to click the first load more button, to load more pages, then the scroll to load more works. I need it to work from the off, seems strange.
Recent Post | When i create a new post, it does not appear in the grid. I need to go to the grid settings, then simply re-save the grid settings and then they appear. This appears to be an issue, and i thought it would update with the latest posts automatically?
Thanks for your help in advance!Site | http://www.rKade.uk.com

sizzlingpotsParticipantHi,
Just installed the theme, validated license etc , and installed most of the extensions/plugins including Visual Composer and The Grid. I activated Visual Composer from the plugin section, however when I try to activate THE GRID, it gives me the following fatal error :Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home1/visualmx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-grid/includes/item-skin.class.php on line 45
I tried deleting , reinstalling and reactivating the plugin several times, through the ADD-ON extension panel, as well as directly as a plugin, however I get the same error
Thanks !

JackKeymasterHi there Kade,
Thanks for the details.
I’ve checked the site and it appears that auto loading is working fine for me, on your news test page, as I scroll it automatically loads the additional items.
With regards to the new posts not showing up automatically, I believe this is down to the caching, as you have disk caching and page caching enabled, I’d recommend excluding any page you have the grid on from caching and this should resolve that. Let us know if you have any problems still, we’re here to help. 🙂
Thank you!
@sizzlingpots, sorry to hear you’re having issues, as that’s a different issue than what this thread is about, can you start a new thread please and someone will be right along to assist. Thanks!April 14, 2016 at 4:13 am #881826
Kade McConvilleParticipantHi there,
Thanks for the update. It seems to be working in every browser besides Google Chrome (the one my visitors use the most).
Are settings different for this browser?
Disabled the page for caching as suggested…

JackKeymasterHi Kade,
Thanks for writing back.
I’ve just checked the page in Chrome and can confirm it only happens in chrome, though even stranger is, for the first scroll it auto loaded on section, but then on further scrolling I had to click “Load More” for it to work as you said.
I see you have caching enabled in The Grid as well,Can you try clearing the Grid cache, disable the Grid cache in the The Grid settings and then check? If it still doesn’t work, can you try disabling all plugins apart from The Grid and Cornerstone and see if it works or not, to rule out a plugin conflict.
Thank you!
