    Hello there,

I have updated the Grid (1.6.0) and settings for the new Instagram API and it’s working for a Instagram ID – but it’s not working for a Hashtag!
    I get two messages either:
“No content was found for the current names and hastags”
    or
When I remove the # from the actual hashtag I get this error:
“Sorry, an error occurs from Instagram API: This request requires scope=public_content, but this access token is not authorized with this scope. The user must re-authorize your application with scope=public_content to be granted this permissions.”

I have tried many different ways – i looked in the forum but couldn’t find anyone with this situation.

Could you give me some ideas of how can I load hashtag content using the grid?

I have already followed that and looked at other forum replies and as I said it’s working for usernames but not hashtags.

any ideas of what that could be?

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. Can you please try a different hashtag and make sure the content associated with this hashtag is public. You can also try re-authorizing the API with new API code with scope=public_content to be granted this permissions.

    Cheers!

Hi Rupok, sorry for the late reply!

Yes I have created an api with public access (see attached)
I have also tried many hashtags and nothing.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

    Hello There,

Is TheGrid caching enabled? Would you mind clearing the grid cache? And after that, please try using #saslc and see what happens. To assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look?

To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
    – Link to your site

    – WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Maybe it’s your API setting on your Instagram. My own API works on my installation, yours isn’t. Would you mind providing your Instagram login too, where API Key is created?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Looks like it won’t let me, it’s asking 6 digit verification code that was sent through your email.

    Thanks!

Can you try again? I checked and the account doens’t require 2 step verification…
if it happens again I will ask the e-mail owner to let me know the verification code!

    Hi there,

Still the same, maybe due to the country of origin. I’ll see if I can just add my own key.

    Thanks and let me know.

    Hello There,

    I am seeing an error:

"Sorry, an error occurs from Instagram API: The access_token provided is invalid."

Please update your Instagram Access Token. Or you might need to register a new one:

could you point me to a tutorial of how to create the proper access token with the proper permissions so I can put this to bed?

if you need the access to the account I got ahold of the email that receives the code. So you can go ahead and try accessing again.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
