Hi there,
The version we have (1.4.0) is actually a 1.5.0 given directly by The Grid’s author to us. It was to fix some bugs, but yes, it may not be the same 1.5.0 since it was release later than the version given to.
I’ll forward this, but the next The Grid’s update will be likely along with the theme update.
Thanks!
June 6, 2016 at 5:16 pm #1028812I would still love to try the solution suggested, but I just can’t find the file: the-grid/frontend/the-grid-element.class.php
It doesn’t exist for me. I’ve searched the contents of every file I could find that could possibly be it looking for code that matches the suggested code to change but I can’t find it anywhere. What do you suggest?
Thanks!
June 7, 2016 at 10:04 am #1030048Hi There,
I did check and yes, the file doesn’t exist. We have forwarded this again to the plugin developer for clarification. We will let you know once we have an update. Thank you for understanding.
June 17, 2016 at 12:30 pm #1047294Hi there,
Sorry about the confusion here. That file wasn’t available in 1.4.0, but it is now available in 1.6.0 which we’ve pushed out to Automatic updates today.
Let us know if you continue to have any issues, we’re here to help.
Thanks!
July 13, 2016 at 4:07 pm #1085628Wow, it works! Awesome!! 1.6.0 of TheGrid doesn’t have the Mac Chrome bug when playing audio 🙂
I didn’t have to change the code. It just worked!
Thank you, thank you!
