X breadcrumbs function is located under /x/framework/functions/global/breadcrumbs.php. You can perhaps add a else condition that will output the title of the current page if no condition is matched. Your code should look similar to:

It can be added to the child theme’s functions.php file that will overwrite the parent theme function. It could be possible to modify X breadcrumbs to work perfectly with Events calendar plugin, but we cannot really support 3rd party plugins. As such, you will need to investigate this on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself.

Ok, that reply was pretty useless…

Anyway, I seem to have found a way to fix the breadcrumb problem. Designerken also had a thread at the TEC forum which pointed me in the right way.

Step 1 is making sure the settings for TEC are correct: Events -> Settings -> View, make sure the Event Template is set to the ‘standard event template’ (do not know the exact wording due to localization of my wordpress)

Step 2, copy the breadcrumb function from the reply above to functions.php

Step 3, add the folowing code to the end of the function:

Disclaimer: this only works for the list view and single event view for now. I’m still working on the other ones.
