I looked through the Forum…didn’t find the exact answer. All I want is to add text to the right of an image in at “last” column. See attachment—I want the text to the right of the 2nd image. I’m using this:
[column type=”one-half” last=”true”]
[image type=”thumbnail” src=”http://beta.sjhp.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/ramp.jpg” link=”true” href=”#example” info=”popover” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=”Add in a little extra information here to describe the story behind your photographs!” title=”Extra Information” alt=”Example”]
[feature_headline type=”left” level=”h2″ looks_like=”h5″ icon=”home”]Headquarters[/feature_headline] 525 W King St. St Augustine. FL 32084
[google_map zoom_control=”true” drag=”true” lat=”29.894308″ lng=”-81.313084″ zoom=”13″ height=”200px” hue=”#831833″][/google_map]
[/column]

April 6, 2016 at 8:20 pm #870349Hello Charlie,
By default, images will display one hundred percent on their container. What you want to achieve is a nested columns. In Cornerstone, please add section > select 2 columns > then on the column on the right add the the code above. That way we can have 2 columns inside your main right column.
Hope this helps.
April 7, 2016 at 10:35 am #871385I did what you said. In column 2 I want an image with text to the right. (so now I nested a column).
But outside the nested column, but still in the right outer column I need a google map. Please see the second attachment.
I tried moving the map, but it never ended up in the right place.
I want it just like attachment 2 with text to the right of the second image. So far…no luck.

April 7, 2016 at 10:59 am #871423See attachment for what I have. I accomplished the text to the right of image in the second column. But I want a google map in the other right column….like I had.
April 7, 2016 at 10:36 pm #872271Hi there,
Thanks for writing back. Are you using shortcodes? I’d suggest you to use Cornerstone to manage the columns visually to avoid any issue with shortcode because nesting is always confusing in shortcodes. Let us know what you are using.
Cheers!
April 8, 2016 at 11:38 am #873054Both. The outer columns were done in CS . the nested column is a shortcode.
The google map is A shortcode too.
I followed the instructions You guys gave me. I was told to use CS for the outer columns, and add the code I had in the 2nd column.
But I did try to do everything in CS. I had the same problem/issue.
The second attachment is what I want, except I want text to the right of the image. When I nest the columns I can get the text to the right of the image, but then I have a problem with the map.
At the bottom of the home page…

April 9, 2016 at 12:56 am #873785Hello There,
Thanks for the updates. Regretfully you cannot nest columns in Cornerstone. We have made this decision to avoid any complicated layouts that may create issues later on the page. You can still achieve something like a nested columns with the help of the available elements we currently have. Perhaps this video tutorial could help you.
Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.
