Hi,
I have read in the forum some old posts, saying that adding html text (breaks) in Tooltip or Popover is outside Theme-X support team scope, and I was really surprised by it, because it’s not a third party plug-in. so I don’t really understand the outside your scope reply. My question is: Have Theme-X developer team fix that issue?
Thank you
March 17, 2017 at 5:38 am #1410880Hi There,
Thank you for writing in! Yes, you can’t have an HTML markup on the Tooltip/Popover because it is actually a property. You can’t write an HTML tag inside an HTML tag. Maybe with custom scripts but it would be outside of support we can offer.
Maybe we could help if you can clarify what you’re trying to do with Tooltip/Popover.
Hope this shed some lights.
Cheers!
March 19, 2017 at 6:38 pm #1412998Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I get it. But again, I found it strange that this is outside your scope.
If it was an third party plug-in or something similar I would understand, but this particular issue depends only on Theme-X dev team.
I got two licenses with this account, and several others (for different clients) and I intended to keep on buying more, but Iam disappointed by this lack of help, and probably will consider something else.Either way, thank you for your lights.
March 20, 2017 at 3:59 am #1413362Hi There,
We’re sorry for inconvenience this has caused you. Popovers already allows HTML, but we found a bug that was causing it to encode HTML instead of allowing it. The developers are on it already and we will let you know once we have an update.
March 20, 2017 at 6:56 pm #1414314Hi Lely,
Thank you for that, I bet it will be useful for other users also.
Don’t take wrongly my message, but I have been here (theme x forum) for a while now, and it’s easy to understand those (support team) that are really helpful, and those that are not.
It’s a risk that Theme-X does, hopefully they can manage well the support team methods.Regards
March 21, 2017 at 7:19 am #1414823Thanks for your feedback. If there’s a functional issue with an element within the limits of the provided options, that is part of our support. Right now, adding HTML to popover is outside the scope of our support as this would currently require modifying plugin functions. This might be the reason why my other colleagues said it is outside of support but that doesn’t mean they are not helpful.
Thank you for understanding.
