Hi There,
As mentioned before there is really a lot of ways of creating testemonials in X at the moment.
It is just about visualizing what you want and assembling.
If we can help you with anything please let us know

June 29, 2016 at 4:07 am #1064507Hi Joao!
OK, I don’t doubt that this is easier than I think with this great theme. 🙂
Please tell me the best way in X to create a quote carousel like they did this one in X: http://novelcreativeagency.com/. I would however, want to improve its responsiveness. That carousel doesn’t adjust well to smaller screen sizes.
Do you suggest me to use some existing plugin or should I download some third party plug?

June 29, 2016 at 6:21 am #1064647Hi there,
You can use built in slider in cornerstone. Instead of image add blockquote shortcode to replicate the layout.
Hope it helps.
July 14, 2016 at 1:28 pm #1087231Got to say I was really surprised that there was no testimonial plug in – absolutely vital for my clients. But I am SO grateful for the suggestion to use the built in slider – dare I say it? It’s easier to use and more customisable than any of the 3rd party plug ins I have used so thanks for that. Solves my immediate problem anyway!

I totally agree.
I am glad you are happy with the solution.

August 15, 2016 at 1:23 pm #1132305How can I make testimonials with a photo for every testimonial? I mean something like here: http://8409-presscdn-0-53.pagely.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/B-School-Testimonials.png
I just also have to say that I am quite surprised that X Theme doesn’t have such a crucial feature…
August 15, 2016 at 4:01 pm #1132490Hi There,
You can use the Slider Element in Cornerstone.
Inside the slider content you can use this code:
It is important that the pictures on the code are square in order to form a perfect circle.
<span style="text-align: center;"> <img style="max-width:90px; border-radius: 50px; margin-left: 45%;" src="http://premalove.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Square-Faces.jpg"></div> <br> <p style="text-align: center;"><b>Maria Maria </b> - "Perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam, eaque ipsa quae ab illo inventore veritatis et quasi architecto beatae vitae dicta sunt explicabo." - <a href="http://www.w3schools.com">Read More</a></p></span>
Hope that helps

Guys, the whole point of your theme is to make it easy for non-techs to quickly create a good looking site. So, forget about the copout about “assembling” stuff and provide us straightforward testimonial slider and testimonial shortcodes.
October 28, 2016 at 2:28 am #1234374Hello There,
We certainly appreciate the feedback! This has been taken into consideration already and it is under development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
For the meantime, you might want to checkout 3rd party Cornerstone addons;

November 11, 2016 at 12:58 pm #1253628I need a testimonial too. Its one of the many things I was hoping you do better than Avada. They have a testimonial but its not very customizable.
One solution could be to use a slider with HTML text and a background image, but unfortunately your slider doesnt support html with a background image. I’d have to handcraft some HTML…
November 11, 2016 at 3:50 pm #1253775Hi There,
I have talked to our front end developer and we will “soon” deliver some tetimonial block templates, but for now you can easily assemble a testimonial block by using the Slider Element in Cornerstone.
Let us know if you need help with anything else.
