It’s such a shame that a testimonial shortcode has been requested for over 2 years now and still non existent. The theme is so good in so many areas yet still falls short in this area. Other themes have it built in but the simplicity of X is so good to use. I’m still new to the whole developing a website skill and so this shortcode would be invaluable to me in my therapy business. Looking forward to it. Hope it’s sooner than later. Otherwise any ideas on how to set up a slider for this would be appreciated?

We don’t have any news about this yet. But I’ll follow up on that.

For the meantime, you can use slider element (not rev. slider or layer slider) and add blockquotes each slide.

Thank you. I have had a look at the slider element and block quotes and it should make do for the moment. (would still love a dedicated testimonial slider though). Thanks again for a great product though. Any suggestions on a good backup and security provider for my website?

Thanks for letting us know that the slider element works for you in some way. Regarding the backup, most of the hosting servers has this features. In addition to that, you can surely install a 3rd party plugin to handle the WP backup for your website. You might want to check out the top backup plugins in the WP repository. Does it really take sooooooooo long time to implement a testimonial element? It’s just a shame to not have it yet… I am sad to say that i’ll have to rate your theme on TF accordingly…
