Hello,
I use Table of Contents Plus –> http://wordpress.org/plugins/table-of-contents-plus/ And their shortcode [toc] is the same as your shortcode [toc], which blocks TOC+ from showing up.
Is it possible to edit a file and temporarily fix the prefix for the X TOC shortcode, and in the future maybe rename the X shortcode to [x-toc] or something similar?
August 5, 2014 at 3:06 am #77981Hey Franz,
Please modify shortcodes.php located in wp-content\plugins\x-shortcodes\functions. Search for
add_shortcode( 'toc', 'x_shortcode_toc_container' );
. Changetoc
tox_toc
.Thanks for letting us know about this conflict. We might change this in a future release.
Thanks and hope that helps. 🙂

July 12, 2015 at 8:06 am #327767Since you have replaced the X Shortcodes Plugin with Cornerstone,
how can I deactivate/rename the [toc] shortcode, in order to get
Table of Contents Plus rerunning?July 12, 2015 at 11:46 am #327857Hi There,
