    I have what seems a bizarre problem. My submenu appears correctly in Firefox, but in Safari and Chrome there is a dark box behind it, making it unreadable. I even put in custom code for a transparent background and it didn’t help.

    Please add the following code to Appereance Customizer Custom CSS

    .masthead-stacked .x-navbar .desktop .sub-menu {
 
    background: white;
}
