    Hi there,

The subdomain uses different installation of wordpress, so you need to update theme on subdomain as well.

    Hope it helps.

What about if my site was section1.domain.com, section2.domain.com etc

Would I need separate licenses for them even though they are essentially the same site, just split?

    Hi there,

If they are separate unique projects, then you need a license for each. If they are just the same, then just one license.

But, you need API Key for both to enable automatic updates. You can only have 1 API Key per License, so what you need to do is revoke and regenerate API Key for each of your installation. Please note that API Key is not license key, it’s just a way to enable automatic updates and installation.

    Thanks.

I was able to add 2 subdomain demo sites with my X License, but now it’s throwing out this error:

We’ve checked the code, but it doesn’t appear to be an Cornerstone purchase code or Themeco license. Please double check the code and try again.

SOLVED: Activate X Theme before applying key.

Glad to see that you were able to fix this.
