Hi Guys,

I’m relatively new to WordPress and Xtheme.

I have a functioning website that I’ve built, I’d like to add a blog page.

I’ve created a page called “Blog” and have published a post. When using the site as a user, I click on the post and it just takes me to my homepage? Everything has been built in cornerstone, including the post.

I have set my homepage to be a static page and my blog page to be the “posts page” under “reading” on the settings.

I’m obviously missing something fundemental, but I can’t see what it is?

Welcome to the world of WordPress and X Theme 🙂

It seems something is wrong with your permalink settings.

Could you please make sure you have your permalink selected as one of the standard options, create a new post and see how it goes?

If that does not work,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

No idea how we’d manage to change the permalinks to custom, but you sorted it.
