Hi,
My client has noticed a strange blinking flash glitch when the home page opens up. Could you please help me with getting this resolved?
It’s very difficult showing you the issue with a screenshot, so my client did some video captures of it. The first video clip is when my client goes back to the home page from the “All Room Types” page. You can see the slider flash white momentarily. http://topm.temp5.straliaweb.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_4433.mov
This second clip is of my client refreshing the home page. You can see the slider flash twice. http://topm.temp5.straliaweb.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_4430.mov
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting in!
Thank you for the screencast, however instead of the flashing, I’m getting this loading icon: http://prntscr.com/5p4c89. Not able to replicate your issue. Could you provide us with more details about the issue, i.e., OS, OS version, browser, browser version, etc?
Thanks!

Thank you for posting in!
Upon checking on several browsers, I’m unable to replicate the issue. However, as revolution slider plugin is a 3rd party plugin, regretfully, we have limited support for it, that covers it’s compatibility issues with X. So any question related to transitions, animations or how the certain feature of the slider works, would be getting outside the support we can offer.
You can review our Kb article on Revolution Slider for more information.
Thank you for understanding. Take care!
January 9, 2015 at 10:49 pm #180182OK. I spoke to ThemePunch and they said I needed to upgrade my Rev Slider to the latest version. But there’s just one problem. Even though I have purchased an additional X license for the actual live site (as the existing license was for X theme on my testing server), I cannot activate it via the Product Validation page because currently the website is on accessible via a temporary URL (http://topm.temp5.straliaweb.com.au) set up by the hosting provider so my client can check the website before it goes live on the actual URL, which is http://www.observatory.net.au. Is there any way possible that you can supply me a provisional API code that will enable me to validate the product for me to access the latest version of Revolution Slider to remove the glitch? My client wont sign off on the project until the glitch is fixed.
January 10, 2015 at 9:24 am #180350Hi there,
I’m sorry but each license can validate one domain,You can revoke current API key and regenerate it for new domain, Or you can try updating manually, To do so you can locate the plugin .zip file itself within the theme at /x/framework/plugins and install that manually via the WordPress admin panel (i.e. Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin).
Hope it helps.
