I am trying to embed a Spotify player on my home page at chadevansmusic.org and all that is showing up is the link. I installed the Spotify Embed plugin and it says that all I have to do is post the link on a page/post and it will format the player automatically.
I am trying to mimic what Meghan Trainor does on her site. http://www.meghan-trainor.com/#zlJxYh12ERAF47DT.97
Everytime I try it, it just shows the link. Can you please help?

Thanks for writing in.
Would like to help but your site is currently displaying a coming soon page. Would you mind providing your login credentials in private too?
Thanks!

Thank you for updating the thread!
Since WordPress 3.6, you can embed Spotify track link directly in your post or page. Your embed shortcode should look like this:
If you are using visual composer, you can insert and Audio embed element and directly insert the link and it will automatically display the player on the frontend after saving it.

http://prntscr.com/6ztbl3You can also paste the embed code that you get from the Follow Button or Play Button generator directly into your page.
Please refer to this links for more infos:

April 30, 2015 at 5:45 pm #262627Hi there,
That’s because you’re using audio embed shortcode to add your spotify. It’s like embed within embed. I changed it to plain text shortcode.
Please check the difference.
Thanks!

May 1, 2015 at 3:45 pm #263311Ok, if you look at it now, is there a way I can put the music embeds next to each other and not stacked on top of each other?
If you to this link you can see Meghan’s layout which is what I am trying to achieve and my layout which isn’t looking very good. Can you help?
May 1, 2015 at 9:10 pm #263494Hello There,
Thanks for updating the thread!
We have updated your page and removed your text block containing the embedded spotify playlist. We have added another content band inside your container. Add two columns and inserted text block for each of the playlist. Please do check it.
Let us know if this has been helpful to you.
May 2, 2015 at 4:53 pm #263984Thank you so much!! And speaking of Meghan’s site, is there a way to create a slider with only videos? Like she has on her site here http://www.meghan-trainor.com/#fbuMVP8J16d1hZmq.97
Is that possible?
May 2, 2015 at 10:26 pm #264089You’re welcome. That is possible with Revolution Slider (see http://revolution.themepunch.com/documentation/#layer-video).
Thanks.
