TheSoftwireParticipantThe social sharing icons have disappeared in the Chrome and FF browsers. (conmantheseries.com) It happened after I installed W3 Total Cache, but I have MINIFY turned off (a solution I read about here). It does not work for me. Everything is fine in Safari. Any suggestions?

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site on Firefox/Chrome & I can see the sharing icons (https://snag.gy/Fa2BMe.jpg). Could you please try clearing your cache and test your site again to see if that works.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!February 25, 2017 at 1:19 pm #1385555
TheSoftwireParticipantI did that and I still get little square boxes for the social sharing icons in the header and the footer – everywhere I try to use them actually. (That image you sent me was not of my site.)
I tried the site on other computers and they two are showing the little black boxes. Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks updating in! I have inspected your site and it appears that there is CORS or cross browser resource sharing issue. The font awesome files were delivered through cloudfront server. Please check this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/edg6u9

TheSoftwireParticipantThanks, but that’s way above my pay grade. I’m unable to follow those instructions for Nginx.

TheSoftwireParticipantWhen I turn off the W3 Total Cache, the icons come back. Would a different plugin help?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Since you are using W3 Total Cache, please do not cache the theme files. You can enable/disable this in the dashboard Performance > CDN > General.
Hope this helps.
