EricParticipantHey I have a shortcode for some social media icons, which work perfectly, however I was wondering if I can add anything to the shortcode so that they would open up in a new window.

EricParticipantHey sorry but the code that you gave me is what I already use, however like I said, the issue is that the social icons opens in the same tab when I want them to open up in a new tab.
Any other ideas on how I could achieve this?
Thanks for the response

Just add a
target="_blank"property to your current code.<a href="https://facebook.com/ericbishara" target="_blank">[icon type="facebook"]</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/ericbishara" target="_blank">[icon type="twitter"]</a> <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/ericbishara" target="_blank">[icon type="linkedin"]</a> <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ericbishara" target="_blank">[icon type="instagram"]</a>Hope it helps, Cheers!
