Nevermind. Had to refresh the page. I would still like to know about the size thing though.
September 13, 2015 at 10:42 am #387345Okay, I added in the exact same code, with Facebook, and it’s still not working for me. The code you entered was fine, but when I try to enter that exact same code in another menu item, it doesn’t work.
September 13, 2015 at 10:45 am #387351It seems that after I save and publish, the codes disappear. I tried another browser just to see if that was the cause, but the codes in the label just disappear after I click “save and publish”
September 13, 2015 at 10:58 am #387359Hi There,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If itโs fixed, youโll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes!
September 13, 2015 at 11:02 am #387361I tried that and it didn’t work. It wouldn’t make sense anyway since you were able to add the code. Any other ideas?
September 13, 2015 at 11:19 am #387374Hi There,
Could you please tell me what code you added to the navigation label?
Does it look like this:
<i class="x-icon x-icon-trophy" data-x-icon="๏"></i>
Thanks.
September 13, 2015 at 11:22 am #387377Yes, exactly like that except instead of “trophy”, it was “home”. Also, I just discovered I am not able to add ANY new menu items. I deleted one by accident “ORDER THE BOOK”, but when I tried to re-add it, it doesn’t show up.
September 13, 2015 at 11:32 am #387388Sorry this is such a hassle. I managed to get the menu item back in place, but still can’t get the social icons to appear.
September 13, 2015 at 2:29 pm #387488I finally figured out that I can’t do it in the customizer, but I’m able to do it in the old menu editor.
However, I can’t seem to get the codes right for the icons I want. I’m trying to get a Facebook, Twitter, G+, and YouTube icon in my menu bar.
September 13, 2015 at 6:34 pm #387565Hi there,
You can use this http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/cheatsheet/ for icon code reference.
For example,
<i class="x-icon x-icon-facebook-square" data-x-icon=""></i>
Cheers!
December 15, 2015 at 2:42 pm #708067Hello there!
I don’t know if I’ve done something wrong but I pasted this code:
<i class=”x-icon-home” data-x-icon=”facebook”></i>
in the menu and all I get is the word Facebook, not the icon. You can see it here: upper-street-madrid.com
Many thanks
